I. Terms
By accessing this website, you are agreeing to be bound by these website Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
II. Pricing and Payment Policies
All products for sale on www.alexandraowensby.com are handmade, custom items. As such, they vary in price based on market cost of materials. Made By AO is owned and operated by a single human being. Pricing may go up depending on the size, complexity, or deadline for an order.
Made By AO accepts credit, debit, Stripe, Square, and PayPal at the time your order is shipped. You will receive an email detailing what items have shipped from your order (the “Invoice Email”). If your order is split into multiple shipments, Made By AO will charge you only for the items actually shipped at that time.
Except where otherwise set out in these Terms of Sale, the price payable by you for the goods is the price given by the Website at the time you place your order. Applicable taxes and the delivery fee will be added at the time you place your order, but will not affect the base price of the goods.
III. Shipping
After you have placed your order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. You will be sent a separate Shipping Confirmation email. The Shipping Confirmation email will include a tracking number that you may use to track your order on the delivery service provider’s website and obtain an estimated delivery date.
IV. Returns
Made By AO will allow returns of any purchased item provided the buyer meets the following conditions.
The return is initiated by the buyer within 7 days of delivery. The return must be initiated by sending an email to madebyao@gmail.com.
The item must arrive back at Made By AO within 14 days of initial delivery to the buyer in original condition. No refund can be granted if the item is damaged in any way. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
*Occasionally damages do occur in transit, Made By AO acknowledges this and will treat this on a case by case basis. A photo of the damaged item must be submitted to MadeByAO@gmail.com within 24 hours of the tracking delivery date.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Please note, if express shipping is selected, this amount will not be refunded to you in the event of a return.
Please note, unless they arrive damaged or defective, Made By AO cannot accept returns for custom or personalized orders.
V. Risk of Loss
The risk of loss and title for all products you order passes to you upon Made By AO’s delivery to the carrier (such as FedEx, UPS, or USPS). Again, damages in transit are treated on a case by case basis.
VI. Intellectual Property
All of the content that appears on www.alexandraowensbycom, including, without limitation all designs, illustrations, icons, photographs, video clips, and written materials, as well as the compilation of the website, Services, and other materials are the exclusive property of Made By AO and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.
VII. Limitation of Liability
Made By AO is not liable for any damages incurred as a result of using its products. These items are handmade, artistic fashion accessories, and are not intended to treat any type of medical condition.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event with Made By AO or anyone representing Made By AO be liable to you under contract, tort, strict liability, negligence or any other legal or equitable theory for injuries sustained while wearing Made By AO items.
VIII. Events Beyond Made By AO’s Reasonable Control (Force Majeure).
Made By AO will not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with these Terms of Sale or the Additional Policies if the delay or failure arises from any event which is beyond our reasonable control. Such events would include (but are not limited to) fires, floods, earthquakes, storms, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, acts of terrorism or malicious damage to or destruction of our premises, equipment or goods.
